Introduction

This story takes place in Osaka, Japan.

Of a girl, Reika Nishida, daughter of one of the richest and most powerful man in Japan, Yutaka Nishida.
Yutaka Nishida as a businessman is very busy at most time.
He spends a lot of time with his work and is hardly at home.
Reika only experiences the feeling of being loved from her mother.
Her mother loved her with all her heart.
Everything she does would be for Reika.
Reika's mother was the only one left of her family after losing her family in an accident.
Handed down to her was her family's secret baking technique.
She bakes the tastiest kind of pastry.
Even renown patissier has praised her baking.
Reika learnt to bake from her mother at a very young age.
But before she could fully learn her mother's secret baking technique,
Reika's mother died in a car accident on her way home one day.
Reika was only seven years old when that happened.
Ever since then, her father, Yutaka Nishida, has changed her life.
Being the only person capable of taking over his business,
he trains her to obtain the necessary skills to run a business.
She has lost her freedom since then.
Ten years passed since then.
Now that she is capable of taking care of herself,
she decided to run away from home.
To do what she loved the most, baking.
To be as good as her mother was.
To bake tasty pastry for small children to enjoy.
She wants everyone to taste pastry as tasty as the ones her mother used to bake.
So she went to a remote part of Osaka.
Somewhere her father would not be able to find her.
To continue learning how to bake.
There she met a nice old man, Kouhei, who teaches her how to bake.
She also went to a small school to study.
There she meets a boy, Tomoya Ishi.
Her life changes after meeting him.
And their story unfolds.
